Who Am I ? Vedanta also says that the five causes of suffering are
all contained in the first cause — not knowing who we are. If we can answer this one basic question, Who am I? we may
find the answer to all other related questions like, Where did I come from? What is the meaning and purpose of my life? Where
do I go when I die?.....
SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING OF ASTROLOGY
All planets & stars for example are in the charge of divine astral beings.the
influence on man from the heavenly bodies is the result of a universal symbiosis, governed by laws upheld by these higher beings.Planets
& stars of themselves have no conscious power to guide or determine the destiny of man.But as the whole universe consists
of & is held in existence by nature's creative vibratory power, each individual unit radiates a characteristic electromagnetic
vibration that links it with other units in the cosmos.Depending upon the interaction, these vibrations are productive
of good & ill.Man is a miniature of the universe in which he lives.his basic composition--of which his physical body is
merely a gross manifestation--is his astral body from the creative forces & consciousness in the spiritual eye & the
subtle cerebrospinal centers. The spiritual eye has a correspondence with the cosmic sun & the six--twelve by polarity--spinal
centers(medullary, cervical, dorsal, lumbar, sacral & coccygeal plexuses or chakras) correspond to planetary influences
represented by the twelve zodical signs of astrology.....................
LACK OF BHAKTI DEVOTION & SHAKTI
"shrthi smrthi purANAnAm Alayam karuNalayam | namAmi
BhagavathpAdham shankaram lOka shankaram" Everyday, we come across such people who try to discourage spiritual aspirants
and put all possible obstacles in our path. But true devotion increases with criticism and condemnation. As the great Kannada
Veerashaiva saint BasavaNNa has said, a true devotee of Shiva should have his criticisers around him bcoz they, in reality,
are helping the devotee to be always alert about his character and remain humble. "The cause of suffering among intellectuals
todayis not because they don't really know; they know a little, but what they know is not their own knowledge, and that is
why they suffer. A little, or partial knowledge, is always dangerous like the partial truth. Partial truth is not truth at
all, so is the case with partial knowledge. The wise directly perceive knowledge." --Swami Rama The interpretation of
the term "poverty" itself is highly debatable. In our great BhAratheeya sanskrthi, materialism has no place. LACK OF DEVOTION
(Bhakthi) AND CONTENTMENT IN LIFE IS THE REAL POVERTY. Our Seers who deeply analysed the cause of sorrow and suffering in
human life have taught us that the way to real happiness is to treat gold (luxury/comforts) and women (bodily pleasures) equal
to sand. Nothing can be more foolish in attaching undue importance to things that are perishable. A person may earn crores
of rupees during his life time but he will carry not even a single paise with him when he dies. Will he ?. Our own body, which
we feel proud of, gets reduced to a handful of ash. None of those who praise our wealth, strength and valour would accompany
us in the end; not even one's own wife, children, friends etc. It is only our "pApa" (sins) and "puNya" (noble deeds)
that obidiently follow us during our never- ending journey. .
LORD KRISHNA SPEAKS TO ARJUNA IN GITA :-
"IN TRUTH, THERE ARE THOSE YOGIS WHO SACRIFICE DO DEVAS,OTHERS OFFER THE SELF,AS
A SACRIFICE BY THE SELF,IN THE FIRE OF SPIRIT ALONE".
Sacrifice to devas means to certain ceremonies for invoking the presence of
liberated saints or of astral gods or other aspects of the godhead who govern various functions of the universe.
In the revelation of the original christen bible, we read that god has "seven
angles" before his throne".the Hindu scriptures also mention these supreme deities or power aspects of god, and identify them
as follows:The macrocosmic ideational casual universe is created & governed by ishvara, "Lord of Creation", the omniscient
reflection of spirit as creator. The law of causation begins with Ishvara, the first cause of matter. The macrocosmic astral
universe is maintained by Hiranyagarbha, who forms the blueprint of the universe in casual ideas. Those wanting insight &
wisdom may pray to god as "PRANJA"he macrocosmic physical universe (the materialization of the casual ideas The macrocosmic
physical universe(the materialization of the casual ideas & the astral blueprints ) is controlled by "VIRATA".The
microcosmic ideational astral form of man & of all objects is controlled by "TAIJAS".The microcosmic ideational form of
man & of all the objects is governed by "PRANJA".The physical form of the man & all the material things is maintained
by "VISHVA".............FOR MORE ON MEANING OF ESOTERIC KRISHNA'S GITA CLICK HERE
Kundalini refers to that dormant power/Energy in the human organism which lies at the
root of the spinal column. The word kundal in sanskrit refers to "coil" & so kundalini has been referred to as that which
is coiled. The child when it is born from the creative energy of god shakti is also coiled/so are the animals & some
manifest their grosser bodies through BRAHMANANDA/HIRAYANAGARBH image "EGG of COSMOS/ISHVARA" . However the word
kunda also refers to a cavaity in which the brain lies or "Shiva kunda".In this sense kunda refers to the skull cavity in
which the brain lies. The dissection of brain reveals that it resembles a snake coiled upon itself having the striking
similarity with the coiled shakti as if keeping the creative record in the brain the way it has created & participated
in the evolutinoary process in the universe of a being. If you pay attention to the Rudraksha, it also resembles the
brain centres of the humans depicting the coils having link with cebro-spinal centres. The purpose of kriya kundalini
yoga is to awaken this kundalini energy which requires much preperation & exercises involving postures,mudras(psycho-physical
gestures), bandhs(muscular locks), pranayama,(breating therby controlling the prana & diaphram) meditation & mantras. When
the aspirant is able to purify & balance certain subtle channels of energy known as the idakalai & pingala nadis in
the spinal coloumn & gradually ignite this kundalini energy(shakti) at the base of the spine in the muladhara chakra,
it begins to rise up through a central channel in the spinal cord known as sushumna nadi.As it rises it passes through various
psycho-energetic centres of the human being representing the dimensions of the universe/cosmos also know as chakras.
